Welcome to Schulz Angus

We are a family-owned farm in northern Alberta. We have a herd of registered black and red angus as well as a commercial herd of angus influenced cattle. We are proud to be involved in the cattle industry and are always striving to bring our customers top quality cattle.

Calving Ease

Calving ease has always been a top selling factor to us when selecting a herd sire for our commercial and purebred operation. We want calving to be as stress free as possible for the cow, ourselves and for our customers.

Functional Bulls

Our bulls are raised and fed with longevity in mind. They graze on pasture until weaning and then have free choice hay.

Quiet and good-tempered cattle is a very important trait to us being that our children are actively involved in the day-to-day operations, working right alongside us. Our cows are all comfortable being handled by us, which results in them being comfortable with us handling their calves.

Maternal Power

We are firm believers in easy keeping, moderate framed cows, that are feed efficient and still have raised an exceptional calf come weaning.
